New pin day! Soon to be restoration thread.

Picked up a long time wanted title. In definite need of a restore but I'll play it for a bit first. I've been chasing this one for a while. Happy camper today!

    Play time.
I've been waiting so long for this one and it
came with everything needed to restore.
Decals and plastics. A spare playfield and perfect backglass.

Nice one Ash. Is it the version that has the sinking institute? when in earthshaker mode? a bit hard to tell from the pics.

You fella are one a good streak of finding these gems. System 11's have some great titles.

System 11's are just great fun. These were the new games around when I was young and I find myself drawn to them.
    No sinking institute unfortunately Jeff.
I had to put my restored playboy on the chopping block to get it but no regrets as playboy was just an art piece. I never played it. This will cop a hiding.

So while I've been playing this one to death, I've been mucking around with the spare playfield that came with it.

    What I'm starting with.

Starting to put some colour back. Still a bit to go but I'm on the way.

Nothing wrong with that I don't think...Repair them, Play them , get sick of them and move them on....Next...

I'd prefer to have owned 50 than to own the same 10 indefinitely to tell you the truth.

If they were that good and you didn't get board with them, operators would have never needed to rotate pinballs and upgrade there old pieces aye.

Real nice work on the PF. I have never played with title but love the artwork. Looking really nice and best of luck with it. Will watch as it gets the well deserved love.

The white needed to be done on this one. It was yellowing a bit. Makes a huge difference to the Gi when it's a nice reflective white.

Called in to see my mate who does my clearcoats today. After a one coat and a slight sand I've lost a couple of key lines around the 10 and 20 ramp miles and the three X. He has put a second coat on but I'll touch them back up before a final coat or two. There is a lot of dust on this and someone has been rubbing there hand on it.
