Last call PDI glass - shipment leaving Germany shortly.

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

The shipment of PDI glass is just being packaged and about to depart Germany. It is the bess anti-reflection glass available in the market and the first mod I would suggest for your favourite pin(s)!

The price is $395 for a standard size or $415 for widebody size. Everyone has used Prowler for transport as the pricing is reasonable and every piece has arrived without damage. You are also welcome to pick up from 4551, QLD.

Please e-mail me jordan@tentori.com.au if you'd like to order some.

Don't miss out this time!!

Hi Jordan. I hope this isn't seen as bombing but would you mind running us through what makes this glass worth $400? The processes involved in producing it etc? I would assume transportation would be dear but no one makes this locally by the look of it - which suggests there's something more to it. I've seen it on machines and you see right through it ( ) but I'm curious to know how it's done.

Hi Maxi, the biggest cost driver is the fact this is made in Germany and the EURO vs AUD exchange isn't good! It would be nice if the exchange rate improved to something >0.80 rather than just 0.67 (which is more like 0.65 after bank fees)! Add to that the volume we are buying and the associated freight & import costs leaves little margin. It's a very specialised glass and I have looked into many alternatives of anti-reflection glass in the architectural / retail market but it only performs similar to Stern & JJP's offering. They are cheaper but I still love the PDI as it is the ultimate.

There's simply nothing like it and it never ceases to impress when you slide it into a Pin! In my opinion it is worth every cent and would suggest it as a priority over a colour screen as you play the game looking at the ball more than the display.

Jordans right on the quality of the product

But try doing it to just 1 machine

Got that right John, I even keep a spare now in case i buy another. Had it up against invisiglass and Invisi looks cloudy in comparison.

Expensive yes worth it, it is....i sound like Yoda :lol

Pimp out a game @maxi and get a sheet in, but you won't be able to stop. I can hear Dad's wallet complaining
