I just did my first playfield swap. You can build your own very cheaply. Credit goes to KJS who came up with the basic idea. I just added the bike repair clamps.
Go to Bunnings any get the Ozito miter saw stand for $59.
    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-mi...stand_p6290176
    Then get 2 X 1 m X 25 cm X 25 cm square steel posts.
You also need two of these quick release bike clamps. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F162192125382IMG_20171017_150251.jpg
If you want to save money just use some brackets instead of the bike clamps but I think the bike clamps are a must item. Drill a couple of holes and get some bolts and you are done.
Here is how it looks assembled.
I added a sheet of old plywood as a table.
    Cheap and very practical.

Another shout out to KJS as l also used the ozito miter saw stands.
Not sure if they changed but it's 30mm x 30mm for the uprights now 😉.
Welded nuts and bolts and cut some bolt handles out of a piece of angle.
Just used cold gal in a can and added some plastic caps on the ends.
Worked so well l made 2.

I didn't use fancy bike clamps, the Ozito saw stand (though I kind of wish I had - it looks good). I made two of these:
    20171121_095803.jpg

    The uprights are:
    Saw horses: https://www.bunnings.com.au/craftrig...horse_p5710162
    2x 20mm flange https://www.bunnings.com.au/kinetic-...lange_p4700443
    2x 20mm uprights in your choice of length - I used 300mm https://www.bunnings.com.au/kinetic-...-pipe_p4700264
    2x 20mm female tee https://www.bunnings.com.au/kinetic-...d-tee_p4700089
    2x Eye bolts https://www.bunnings.com.au/zenith-7...lists%2fdetail

    The rotating bit is:
    2x 15mm flange https://www.bunnings.com.au/kinetic-...lange_p4700442
2x 15mm 100mm pipe (should fit through the tee) https://www.bunnings.com.au/kinetic-...-pipe_p4700245
    2x 15mm end cap https://www.bunnings.com.au/kinetic-...d-cap_p4700104
The arms that hold the playfield: https://www.bunnings.com.au/carinya-...acket_p3975785 - I used tin snips to take off one segment so the the arms are equal lengths from centre.
    2x 2x150mm clamps https://www.bunnings.com.au/irwin-15...p-set_p5861495

There's a pair of bolts each end holding the angle bracket to the galvanised flanges and few screws through the bottom flanges into the saw horse. Most of it is only hand tight and comes apart for storage. The only slightly odd tool I needed was a tap to thread the holes the locking bolts wind in to, but I had an imperial tap and die set from fixing stuff on pinball machines already. The whole thing comes apart an folds flat for storage.

That looks good too. The bicycle clamps are actually $3 cheaper than your home made set up.

Possibly. I already had the irwin clamps and sawhorses though so I only really bought the gal pipe stuff for it.

So to make your own is about $170-200. If you got an actual playfield rotisserie - how much are you looking?
