    I just got another grey "A board" to make sure it's actually the A board that needs fixing. aussiekanga once offered me fixing things for quite cheap including return, unfortunately i can't pm him anymore?!

    When you say 'A board' you're talking about the bottom board right?
    You haven't said if it works on the other A board.

    If it's the A board, it's most likely a dead custom chip (they run hot) and replacments aren't available.

    Those aren't even worth trying to fix. Your game board works, and you've got yourself another working A board so I wouldn't bother.

    In saying that, the A board has the same custom as CPS1 A boards that fail and this may be a good candidate for a donor.

    If you're going to throw it out I'd like to take it
