Nanao Ms9 no sync

brad808

Question

Hey guys I have an auto switching Nanao ms9 that will no longer sync. I had it in my versus city cab and plugged a bad monitor into the cab. High voltage got sent down the ground chain and now the monitor wont sync. Eveything in the cab is good, I've already put in a replacement ms9 so the problem is definitely on the chassis itself.

I have no wave on tp1, I've replaced q101 and u101 but still get no pulse. I have also tried swapping la7853. Still nothing. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Have you replaced all the electrolytic capacitors yet?

They were replaced maybe 2 years ago but not since the instance of high voltage. I suppose I can pull and check them. Thanks for the suggestion.

It would be nice to find a good quality schematic for these so you didn't have to work on them blindly. The only one I can find online looks like it has been photocopied about 50x and is illegible.
