Playfield swap. Cutting into new clear.

Recommended Posts

Having just received a newly restored @Savage playfield i'm gathering supplies and knowledge prior to doing the swap.

One thing I did read was this : https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/vids-guide-to-ultimate-playfield-restoration/page/46#post-2611562

How many people that have had to do this sort of thing for newly clear pf's? Is it required?

I don't want to start installing and start getting cracking the clear or anything like that.

The obvious thing is that I shouldn't over tighten down screws etc.

As Smithy and Nick64 have mentioned.

If in doubt drill some of the holes, I also have some sharp pointed tools to use to push down in them too, works well (like a reamer) will take photo's as I'm not sure what they are called as they were placed in an order as a bonus from RTBB many years ago.
