pinfrog Posted April 13, 2017 Share Posted April 13, 2017 Hi All , need advice from the paint experts out there. Can you paint automotive acrylic over enamel. I had a phone call from a guy who has started a repaint on a C37. He has finished the white base coat in enamel and now for whatever reason has asked if I can complete the paint job. I have restored a few machines myself but I only use automotive acrylic paint. So I need to paint spatter, two colours and a clear top coat acrylic over the enamel , will this work or do I need to strip off the base colour and start again. Thanks in advance.
