      Model 3 to Jamma

      Hi Guys

N00b question here...Jamma to model 3. Is it possible? I really want to play Virtua Fighter 3. I've seen some adapters for sale on ebay. Do they work and how difficult would it be to swap the boards? I've read various things on random forums about this...so far the things that have stood out are the montior frequency and the power supply being very sensitive on Model 3 units.

I'm guessing this is not as simple as buying a VF3 board, buying a jamma to model 3 convertor and just plug and play?

      Thanks

Virtua fighter is medium res so you would need a machine that can handle that. What do you plan to put it in

Well at the moment I have a game master cab with Tekken 3 in it. No idea what the screen is though!

Short answer is yes - very possible. In addition to the medium resolution monitor, your power supply will need to be able to provide 5V at 15amps or higher for stable performance.
