Not 'Post New Thread' in Freebies Corner

Hey Guys, I am trying to put up a free Arcade stuff in the Freebies Corner but I can't find where to create a new thread from. I thought I just didn't see where the option to create a new thread from but the help thread I am posting here has a very clear 'New Thread' button which does not appear on the Freebies Corner page.

 

Any ideas on how to fix this or does my account not have permission to do this (and why :S ).

The "freebies" section is a category in the "For Sale" section, when you go to the for sale section, this is what it says - it applies to all sub categories.

To access this section you need a minimum of 50 posts and 6 months membership, to post you need 200 posts and 1 years membership or a paid upgraded account (Donation).

That does feel like an oversight. Perhaps there's potential for abuse, though, such as bait-and-switching.
