Seeburg 100b Selection problem

rbouchjr

Question

I am working on a Seeburg 100b. The selector has been completely taken apart and cleaned. More if it works now then did before I started. Here is the breakdown of what works and what does not.

Doesn't Work Works

A 1-8, 10 A 9

B 1,3 B 2, 4-10

C 1-10

D 1,3 D 2, 4-10

E 1-8, 10 E 9

F 1,3 F 2, 4-10

G 1-8, 10 G 9

H 1,3 H 2, 4-10

J 1-8, 10 J 9

J 1,3 J 2, 4-10

I know there is a pattern here but i am not sure what it means.

Thanks

Ron

Hi Ron have you checked the pivot in the clutch tower? I know that it can some times get seized up causing your Seeburg to skip past selections or play only certain selections. I'd check the tormat as well. Good luck!!!

Hi Ron have you checked the pivot in the clutch tower? I know that it can some times get seized up causing your Seeburg to skip past selections or play only certain selections. Or maybe the selection circuits between the buttons and the tormat. Clean the contacts on these switches and the connectors between the selector and the tormat. Or it could be the links between switches on the selector push button assemblies. I'd check those if you already haven't done so. Hope that helps, good luck!
