BioBa
Is a missing line repairable by an average skilled guy like me or shall I throw it out?
RPZ
I've had a few dots out on my X-Men back in the day and took it to AMD who fixed it for me. Not sure if all are fixable Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ocyen
Have a look at the pins at the edge of the bad column or row. The line is most likely out because the pin connecting the display to the PCB is broken. Very commonly occurs to the pins on the topside of the display. It's repairable but you need to drill into the glass to remake the connection. I've tried a few products instead of drilling like conductive glue and normal solder, but they don't seem to work. Love to know if there is something else that works. I've yet to try the epoxy from RTBB. In my opinion, don't throw it out, it's still a nice working display. Give repairing it a go or just put it into a game that doesn't use the dead column too much! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
