bplail
I finally got around to installing my marquee light. I just used a usb LED strip. worked great and gave me a nice and even light http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s465/bplail/20160815_100740_zpss6rf5hcn.jpg http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s465/bplail/20160815_100823_zpshvqroxhi.jpg I also deleted mala and installed launchbox, much better layout and easier to setup. http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s465/bplail/20160827_163754_zpsgftquz84.jpg we had a few people over the other day and I moved it out into the living area and it was very much enjoyed!! http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s465/bplail/20160827_163907_zps0hdoesfe.jpg http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s465/bplail/20160827_163857_zps8r51wgye.jpg http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s465/bplail/20160827_163815_zpsz9ec53gx.jpg http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s465/bplail/20160828_094308_zpstufqiriu.jpg some people playing it http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s465/bplail/20160828_002648_zps4zg1wxed.jpg http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s465/bplail/20160828_002650_zpsv8gyfcmc.jpg http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s465/bplail/20160828_003442_zpsrcbry0ei.jpg

-Slayer-
So I finally got to roll some paint on this thing and its starting to look really nice now. I'm happy with the paint at the moment with just one coat of blue so it should look even better when I get a second coat on there tomorrow. The Taubmans River Boat Blue came out so close to the original colour too, the only other recorded matching colour is the Behrs liquid blue so I was happy to find an alternative I could get mixed up here in Aus http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s465/bplail/20160520_120128_zpsmtwlbyh2.jpg http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s465/bplail/20160520_130758_zpsbez4oflj.jpg http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s465/bplail/20160520_130806_zpskx9hpdbx.jpg http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s465/bplail/20160521_145353_zpsrxpa6gku.jpg http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s465/bplail/20160521_154258_zpsbbwvip2e.jpg Couldn't seem to message you mate so I'll just ask here just wanted to ask how you went about painting the cabinet, what kind of roller did you use, and did you get a nice smooth finish using a roller? Cheers mate.

Cheers mate. sorry mate my inbox is full, im going to try and delete some messages now. so i used one of the grey disposable foam rollers from bunnings for the sides and one of the smaller ones that are about 150mm wide that they sell also for the front. i got a bit of a fine texture through it but its quite smooth for a roller, its really come up similar to how laminate feels. and thats with no sanding between coats, i imagine it would be much smoother with sanding between coats. and for the black i just masked up and used a satin black spray paint, i used the dulux one but i have since tried rustoleum on another project and i like that paint better. hope this helps. sorry about my pictures. i need to go through and update them as my photobucket is no longer. thanks
