I have a Philips tube, an A51-572X.

The chassis was toast. Do you have a universal chassis for this tube?

Just clearing out stuff at the moment. This is looking like going to the bin or free stuff.

Could you please tell me which pins are the heater so I can check the filament is OK as no glow was one of the symptoms.

Thanks.

Ro

It's a standard 12 pin low focus tube with high impedance yoke , have never once seen a failed filament on a 12 pin CRT

I don't have a chassis to suit this one in stock but it will work with any 12 pin chassis like the normal Orion that has a lot of problems with yokes burning out.

There are people always looking for these types of tubes

Bring it over and we'll run it through the CR7000.

Thanks Jomac.

I have an Orion chassis.

Thanks, I can test it now!

Doesn't hurt to have a spare 20" tube I reckon! :)

It's got a frame on it too, which is great, since all my test bench monitors seam to end up in games. :lol

Cheers,

Ro
