The other option is to buy a Pandora's Box 520 in 1 as it has all the games including 25th Anniversary.

Anyone played Street Fighter on a Pandora Box?

What happens with the Kick harness as Jamma only supports 3 buttons.

Anyone know?

Hi mate,

I had a Pandora box 2 - 400 in 1.

I played Super street fighter X grand master challenge (jap version), and the xmen/marvel VS series on it, and it ran great. Great value for money. I noticed the older street fighter games (hyper, champ, hacked version) - some ran good, some didnt. But you're paying bugger all for the board. I don't think there's an exact answer you can get without playing one for yourself. I think you wont be disappointed for the money. Worst case, sell it if you don't like it.

It doesnt use a kick harness. Instead, you remove the ground wires from the second last pins on your jamma harness (e + 27) , and you use those pins, and other unused pins (c,d,e & 25, 26, 27), to wire your kick buttons directly to the end area of the jamma harness.

This explains it a lot better:

I know the Elf 512 boards are a bit slow.

Not sure about normal Pandora, but the Pandora 2 I had was quick on a lot of the CPS2 stuff I played.

To be honest, best to try one before you buy. No point getting one and being unhappy. Theres a guy on Gumtree in Burwood NSW that sells them all the time, maybe he'll let you have a go on one before buying. Ill PM you the link

What's the difference in game play between running one of these xxx-in 1 and just using a PC with GroovyMAME / CRT EMU Driver?

CRT EMU Driver with GroovyMAME running in DDRAW destroys these multiboards. Completely smooth scrolling and minimal input lag. Only advantage of the multiboards is the convenience.
