This is another game I used to enjoy playing BITD, haven't played it for decades.

I can't even remember how far I could get. I think I can remember trampolines.

The used to have it down at the local indoor cricket centre, I dropped a lot of twenties in that cocktail machine.

Oh noooooooooooo why John WHY Mark

Here I was thinking this game would be right up your alley.

This game was in the oldies shop on rotation for a period back in the 80's - that is about the last time I played it. My 5 nominations (which will come out at the end) were all pretty much games I had played in the 80's but more or less haven't touched since that time.

It got requested once when I was streaming. Played for about 2 minutes then threw in the towel hoping it would never come up :lol

I have never played this game but always think to myself "I'll give that a go later" whenever I go past it on my game wheel. Hopefully this is enough of a reason to give it a crack although I still haven't had time to have a real go of Joust yet (have played about 6 games).

Made it up to the ball stage, which I don't remember so maybe I never made it this far BITD :lol I have a feeling the version we had in the shop might have been the level select version, but I don't think the level select version works very well in an MGL environment.

wowsers, i remember playing this way back in (quick check) MGL 9! Great little game.

It doesn't feel like that long ago, I still remember all the tricks and most of the patterns, a game that stuck with me I suppose...

This game was last played in mid 2009, that's 5 years ago ... over 70% of the MGL player field were'nt even AA members then ... http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l500/sno-bee/Pacman_Machine_zpsb3b61f58.gif http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l500/sno-bee/Pacman_Machine_zpsb3b61f58.gif http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l500/sno-bee/Pacman_Machine_zpsb3b61f58.gif http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l500/sno-bee/Pacman_Machine_zpsb3b61f58.gif http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l500/sno-bee/Pacman_Machine_zpsb3b61f58.gif http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l500/sno-bee/Pacman_Machine_zpsb3b61f58.gif http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l500/sno-bee/Pacman_Machine_zpsb3b61f58.gif

I just wanted to check.

I'm using the circusc3 rom but my settings are a little different to what you showed.

Namely the bonus lives part. Is this ok?

I may not even get to 90k. <_<

First of all, yes it is the same and it's all good.

Second, I reckon you'll make it past 90K ... ;)

Looks like they didn't have the full game specs correct in Wolf/Mame .106

Just out of interest, can someone confirm if in .106 you get the bonus correctly at 20, 90 and every 70 (as it is in later versions)?

I can't get 70k or I'd try it myself :lol I pretty much use .150 now for everything, I'll go back to .106 if that is what TG specifies.... if they ever start taking records again that is :rolleyes

I've never seen this, looks a cool game. Haven't got past the tightrope yet.

My tip for level 2, the tightrope.

Don't stop moving forward, and time your jumps well. ;)
