Turning back the clock?!

Recommended Posts

Stumbled across some photo's of Gene building the BBB remake. Saw the price tag of $4500(US) and wondered if I could turn back the clock would I buy one or a few?

So I thought I'd start a thread about turning back the clock. When would you go back to and what would you do?

3 pinny related times come to mind, The Grays Auctions in , Melb. Vic, and pre-Internet days.Loved looking in the trading post and lastly the demise prior to Williams pinball when prices were realistic and ops wanted to offload.

Go back to when I bought my first

the local operator was selling Gottlieb EM's

one player $100, two player $120

I'd buy all six machines that were for sale

I bought my first EM for $110..........and I did go back and buy another 5. All @ $110

Sold them off the back of my truck at the TNT depot for $350 each the same afternoon. Kept the best Jacks Open for another 25 years before selling it for 2K. We would all have been hoarders if we knew they would just disappear for so long.

Sent from my iPad somewhere!!!

When PJ blue were 68c a deck....

Lol, either way if you've been smoking since those prices my guess is you have one foot in the grave.

When gold was $400 an ounce.

Don't we all.....

Was hoping for mainly a pinball related thread since that's where it is but thanks for the input guys. Keep em coming.

I'd go back about 8 years and get myself my first pinny.

I always talked about wanting to own one, but never did anything about it.

It took my wife to actually buy me one. Now I can't stop.

Can only imagine my collection if I had started earlier :D
