Coin mechs and Ipac

Can anyone give me hand with this?

I have seen the coin mechs on http://www.ozstick.com.au and noticed they have microswitches on them. Is the microswitch's job to tell an ipac that a coin is inserted?

Does it just get connected to the "1Coin" terminal on the ipac ?

This is probably a no-brainer kind of question , but hey - its the weekend !! lol

yes thats right the normally open on the micro goes to the coin on the ipac and gives credit the ground joins the others on the ipac

you can actually daisy chain the the normally open one to the coin on player 2 side aswell so one coin drop will give both players credit

In fact in my Red Lowboy i have a single 20 cent comparitor and i wired it to both p1 & p2 coin insert connections on the ipac and disabled the coin inset function on the ipac with the programming s/w that came with it.

now the kids get thier moneys worth, 2 credits for every single coin they drop in
