Question

I'm reasonably confident with most DMD repairs, but EMs are a whole new ball game for me.
Got a project jumping jack (2 player version of Jack in the Box - 4 player) and starting to tinker with it.
What i have done to date
Removed all score reels and stepper motors, checked (with my amateur eye) that they function freely
Checked all switches in machine, on score reels, motors etc and given a quick swipe with emery paper, and checked that the 'seem' right (ie: most times you can tell if they should by N.O. or N.C.)
What the machine does
On startup, all scores reset to zero, drops reset
Credit wheel does not seem to move
Motor keeps on running - BUT - if there is no ball in the trough, the motor runs for a few revs, then stops. If you then activate the trough switch, the motor continues to run. During the motor running, if you activate playfield switches, it will stop the motor running, and score no worries - but if the ball drains, the motor runs continually
I have noticed that the 'F' relay (E relay delay relay, where 'E' is Add Bonus Unit Relay) stays on, but if i pull this off manually, its stops the motor running.
Here is a link for the schematic for Jack in The Box, which should be close to identical (being the 4 player version of this 2 player), but i am not an expert in reading these to diagnose problems
