Pitiful, but that will do as a starting score. My eyeballs are hanging out of my head from working all weekend, I'll give it a decent shot in the morning before work if I wake up earlier enough

Decided to grab my chance to lead this thing. Not that it'll last too long. Had all 4 lives going into L4. Died twice on 4-1. Once to 3 awkwardly spaced barrels and once to a heat seaking wild barrel. The other 2 lives were lost on the dreaded L4 elevators.

    First game - 151,700 a bit rusty.
Second game - 387,700 feeling good for a big score this comp.

Short lived, but you were winning this... even if it was only for 53 minutes Rob

No surprises here, but kane nearly knocks off last years winning score in the first 3 hours of the tournament

Well I managed to hold top spot for 53 minutes.

Decided to have another go maybe try for 90K or 100K if I got lucky. Died once on L3 elevators. Can't actually remember the second death but it was before the L4 elevators. Made it to the safe spot, waited then made it up the bloody ladder first time!

Got to L5 elevators with a new PB of 119,200 and decided to grab the prize for an even 120K. Figured that was all I would score and L4 was a fluke. Made it to the safe spot, waited then made it up the bloody ladder first time again!

L6. Made it to the safe spot, waited then did it again. Up the ladder first time. Third death on 6-5 and final death on the L6 rivets.

Right now I sit here with a new Donkey Kong PB thinking "what the #@%$ just happened." And yes the game was recorded.

    Cheers

    Rob

What an ugly game that was. Died in some really stupid places as you can see on my screen shot Copped way more than my fair share of wild barrels, flaming barrels climbing quickly too the top of the barrels stage and firefoxes being extremely uncooperative on the rivets level.

Should keep the recording though, pulled a move on level 4-3 that the pro's would be proud off - so excited with the move that I died straight after it

Might get time for one more game this morning, then I'll probably have to wait until tonight to give it another go
