I have finally cracked a Sydney Pub to start putting my Pinballs in. I have placed my Twilight Zone (which is on eBay $8500) alot of money yes. But I don't really want to sell it but my accountant is telling me to sell some Pinballs and buy skill testers as they make more money in the pubs. Anyway. It's at the Wentworthville hotel. Marty is the manager there and I told him I would like to put in another 3 machines and make it a great pinball Pub. With transformers coming and my Wizard of Oz I told him there would be a few new visitors if he agrees. I will be starting a tournament for a blu ray player next week. If your a local in the area and have a favorite pin. Let me know as the 2nd one is on the way as soon as he gets the old arcade out.

But what about popular titles like The simpsons pinball party?

Ive heard they can do good turnover?

Yeah true. Older sterns are good. My most played stern is family guy by a long shot! Then LOTR and ironman go ok. Avatar buck hunter NBA ect. Ordinary to say the least

Love your work Luke!!

Interesting to hear your experience about newer sterns are not as profitable as older Williams / Bally and older sterns. This given the fact Howard himself has been quoted as saying '"If machines stop making money for operators and operators stop buying our machines we will no longer exist. We cannot exist on home/enthusiast sales."

Maybe you should send him your figures :)

Transformers (coming soon), Austin powers.

Williams Bally: monster bash, medieval madness, theatre of magic, Arabian nights, Addams family, junkyard, creature black lagoon, flintstones, popeye, white water, Dracula

Hey Luke,

It was great to meet you and the crew from LA Games at the Arcade and Vending show here in Melbourne this week. Talking pinball with you at Oscar's stand there was a real blast.

So much time and effort goes into getting your pins as attractive to play as possible. Those pics of your machines and all the mods were first class - better than most home use machines IMO - just wish more operators did the same.

Best of luck with all you do. As others have mentioned, it would be great to have a similarly committed operator here in Melb..... doubtful.

Hey Luke

Thanks mate it was awesome to catch up. I will let Oscar know when we are down again and we will go have another feed at the casino. Dave was a bit crook after all that apple pie he ate lol. Good to hear that meatloaf was good.

Cheers for now
