I do this all the time, just dive in and start playing and several days later watch the demos and learn all these tricks I could of been using.

Good advice. I watched the attract mode and saw the birdie appear and bring the grapes back. Cool! But could I triger that myself even when I copied - Nup!

I have got into the swing of point pressing a bit, ie climbing the poles and trying for multiple kills and that green guy's 5k a time helps, though I still don't get the frog or the other bonus.

    Stage 8/147k

Have you ever played it before, I hadn't until a few months ago. Seems to have all the elements of the good vertical platform era.
I never see it mentioned anywhere and pointed it out to wtv one day now he's an addict

Nah, never heard of it until MGL, which is the case with most MGL games for me.

True a lot of games I would normally pass by going through a MAME menu I have given a lot more time because of the MGL.

The arcades games you should of played but didn't, and we have a few thousand more to play

Fun little game, very similar to Roc n Rope (there's even a cameo by one of RnR's dinosaurs). I wonder how much chat/competition there was developing these games or if the same guys did both. RnR is 83 and PP 84, used to thinking of game development in terms of years but I suppose they probably weren't given that long back then .

Btw I'll post a score when I can start getting that bloody bird out .

No bird for me, perhaps I should be more patient. I have seen the green frog a few times and completing the challenging stage gives a decent bonus also.

I feel bad, I have been neglecting my gaming duties, sorry I got distracted doing some minor house renos. I will try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    Not a bad game

Might get time to have a couple more games and hopefully make a slight improvement on this score.

I just noticed the Frog bonus is also the frog from Frogger, with the Frogger sound aswell. Maybe that is why we never heard of this game - probably got binned for copyright violations!
