Mr Pubstuff
boredom being the bear that it is had me thinking how can i cover the very ugly switch on the ramp between red and ted and where to put the famous taxi and dozer without it intruding too much. so while out looking for a taxi and dozer, i found a monster truck (which those who know road show gets its own 15 minutes of fame) so home it came with the hope i could make it cover the switch and it worked nicely. both are easily removed with the monster truck mounted on its own bracket that mounts thru the existing switch bracket screws and the taxi is on its own bracket also that is mounted via a clip to the existing bracket also. i havent put the dozer anywhere yet as i didnt have the necessary material to make a bracket to put on top of a pop bumper. so for craftys satisfaction of a before pic that i didnt take, heres 2 pics of the switch bracket courtesy of ipdb, then theres mine after them. http://mirror1.ipdb.org/images/1972/image-17.jpg http://mirror1.ipdb.org/images/1972/image-20.jpg http://www.pubstuff.com.au/arcade/roadshowtoys.jpg

Mr Pubstuff
matchbox taxi, but cant remember what actual model it was and from toys'r'us for the princely sum of 2.20. the monster truck was from go-lo and is a road master brand for the whopping amount of 1.99. the dozer i got in a set of 5 construction vehicles from toys'r'us for 6.99 (brand is fast lane), so my young fella scored 4 new trucks etc for his collection. all are ho type scale :) 6.60 all up and an hour to make brackets.
