Here's the pinout for the 054538 custom from Konami, as used on an X-Men PCB. There are a lot of unused pins in this application that might be used elsewhere.

Here's the circuit connections for the 054539 custom as used on the X-Men PCB. If you have damaged traces or corrosion damage, this should help you fix the game..

PC080 and PC090 from Taito. Found mistakes in the schematic with regards to the pinout. The pinouts I have here are from the schematics, but 2 changes were made to the PC080 by me, verified by my multimeter.

SCA12 is on pin 73, not 43

MD3 is on pin 49, not 79

They have REALLY odd spiraling pinouts... Hard to wrap your head around until you see it documented like this...

Here are three Konami customs... The protection custom was reversed using my multimeter and a PCB. The other two were pulled from partial schematics of Vendetta. I'll be posting more as we need to get these chips documented better in the community.

Here's a Taito sound custom reversed out...

Opt A is sound sample option ROM A, Opt B is ROM B... 2610 is referring to a signal on the YM2610.

This chip handles memory banking for the Sound Program ROM, all the control signals and address decoding for the sound subsystem, and communications to/from the main 68K CPU. It also optionally handles audio volume (not on Crime City, but is on Aqua Jack) and enables for the TC0060 sound mixers. It controls the muting of the audio amp IC as well.
