Gday....I am interested in a pair of these (not the optical ones) and was wondering if you stock the encoder/interface cards for them? I had a bit of a look but couldnt find them on the Gamedude site anywhere?

    Bugger!

Ok...is there any reason the harness couldnt be cut off these and just wire em into an i-pac or a similar sorta keyboard encoder thingy instead?

Gamedude, Love one of these joysticks but is slightly out of my price range atm

Retrogamer, the interfaces for the rotary devices that are avalible are:

    Rotary Joystick Interface
    http://www.ultimarc.com/rotary

    Opti-Pac
    http://www.ultimarc.com/optipac1.html

As for using it on one of the other encoder I am not sure but seems like a expensive joystick to be cutting the wires on it!

Cheers BD, i know they are available from ultimarc, but i have a fairly comprehensive purchase of parts to make and would like for it to be obtained locally (in Oz) if possible as i imagine it will save me on postage and i also prefer to be able to just get it all in one hit from the same supplier if i can...as opposed to buying bits from here, some from there, another from wherever...a potential nightmare scenario (which i have done before and dont particularly wish to repeat).
Ultimarc also recommend on their site to go through Ozstick for any purchases within AUS/NZ, but they dont appear to have them available on their web site either....but i will chase that up when i get to it.
I am not overly concerned about snipping a few wires off a joystick if it means i can make it do what it needs to, and its no great drama for me to re-attach a plug if need be.
    Shhhhhh........I'm going quietly insane.
