Importing question

Recommended Posts

Hey guys - just received a quote to have a pinny brought in from overseas with two separate prices.

The cheaper option was to have it 'wrapped for export' and the second option was 'crated.'

Obviously we all know what crated is but does anyone know what 'wrapped for export' entails?

Thanks a bunch,

Steve

Be Carefully ,crating can cost you extra money on these side .

where is it being imported from, and is it containerised or air?

keep in mind that crating will possibly cost more because the shipment freight will be charged based on the weight of the cargo, and it's usually in increments, so if your rate is up to 100kg, and it weighs 101kg, you will pay a higher rate.
