Bluebear
Hey guys - just received a quote to have a pinny brought in from overseas with two separate prices. The cheaper option was to have it 'wrapped for export' and the second option was 'crated.' Obviously we all know what crated is but does anyone know what 'wrapped for export' entails? Thanks a bunch, Steve

Bluebear
Gday Trav, Many members on the site have used RTS transport to move pins around the country. Their rates can be seen in the following thread: http://www.aussiearcade.com/showthread.php?t=9634 Happy shopping, Steve

rads
Gday Steve, Did you get prices to bring in from O/S? I thought RTS only did domestic?
Redback
I'd be interested in what it ends up costing and how you have it transported. Which freight company. Where it was shipped from and any hidden costs that you get bitten with. Thanks, Red

kitty
where is it being imported from, and is it containerised or air? keep in mind that crating will possibly cost more because the shipment freight will be charged based on the weight of the cargo, and it's usually in increments, so if your rate is up to 100kg, and it weighs 101kg, you will pay a higher rate. hamish_nz
pay the extra for crating. Not worth the risk if you have ever been to a shipping depot and seen the way they drive fork lifts you would know why.
