Matthew

A request has been made to keep this thread open, so please post any abbreviations that I have not included in the list.

Cheers,

Matthew

......... theres about 400 of the most common pinball name abbreviations used by collectors here:

http://www.ipdb.org/lists.cgi?anonymously=true&list=abbrev

Thanks mate, there are quite a few lists around now on the web, I only kept this thread alive because of some requests made back in 2008.

Cheers,

Matthew

Am I the only one that can't stand these abbreviations,is it that much trouble to write the whole name out?

I agree generally, but.... some of the names are quite long and drawn out if having to write repeatedly, and for cases such as eg. "list machines you own..." , if you are trying to list many titles. There is a time and a place I guess :)
