T2 front face clean up

Recommended Posts

Time to tear down the front face of T2.

My first Pinball and been with me 6.5 years.

The gun was rusted and tarnished so off to Wizard Chrome at Narangba.

Heat gun the front decal off and no hail damage behind the legs for 28 year old.

Bit of sanding and a bit of paint nice and flat.

Coin door was push in so a bit of timber and the weight of my massive arse popped it out nicely.

First attempt at painting caused the paint to crazy crack on the frame of the door so had to strip it down again.

This time put a coat on every 20 mins until finished.

2 primer, 2 satin black and then 2 stain clear.

New front decal from MR Pinball $99.

Putting a front decal on dry even when I cut a full wooden door was a prick of a thing to do right.

Came out alright in the end but a lot of mucking around.

Bought a lock down bar off of @KJS that he had buffed nice and shiny.

After 1 month the chrome gun came back awesome and would want to be for $250.

The bloke put so much chrome on the trigger mech would not fit in or work.

Time to call @TUF-427 for a five min job to fix. (2hrs thanks Pete)

Finally got it back together just now and had a game.

Kicked my arse again you beautiful girl.

looks good, are you doing the NF
Probably next year.

I put new ramps on mine and a few Ryza LEDs.

A speaker upgrade with LEDs.

Came up a treat.

It has become my favourite machine at the moment.
