favourite arcade in the 80s

apologies if this has been discussed before

for those of us that grew up

in the 80s, what was your favourite arcade location?

for me it was grundies on the gold

coast

and if my memory serves me correctly there was a playtime in the brisbane cbd, elizabeth st that captured plenty of my pennies

both now sadly closed

there was also

a fish n chip

shop at the miami shops that had a harpoon controlled shark attack game - as a youngster it enthralled me

magical places and times to me

i remember everytime id hit the gc id go to grundies and hunt down the star wars cockpit in a dark corner with precious tokens

itd be good one day to see a “chasing ghosts” style docco of old grundies
