Red deer
Hope Sundays treating everyone well. I'm looking at buying my 5yr old something to play in the car etc. I see lots of different types on ebay but have no idea. I guess I'd want something preloaded with plenty of games, reliable and with batteries that last. Thanks. Red deer
Ok thanks I will google it. I am completely hopeless with anything other than arcade machines. Sent from my iPhone using Aussie Arcade
namastepat
What's your budget and what do you want exactly? My 4 year old loves playing my old 3DS, he also loves my Switch. You could always go one of the many cheap, handheld emulators and just load it up with ROMS. Really depends heavily on what you want and how much you want to spend. Red deer
it needs to be simple obviously. I wouldn't have the IT skills to upload ROMS. iv seen the 1000 game units on ebay but they look tricky to navigate and not real strong.
narf_
Tried the handheld nes clones or data east ones at australia post?
Crafty
Go a Nintendo DS with an R4 card. Cannot beat original Nintendo Hardware and loading up games on a R4 card is not too hard to do. You could be talked through it on the phone or simply send the card to a fellow AA'er who would sort it for you.
buttersoft
Threads on those handheld units on Ebay and Aliexpress seem to say something like a PSP or PS:Vita or DS + 3DS R4i is a better bet.
