Boof Head
Just thought I’d share some results of some ball swirl removal. Might help someone out. I’ve used some cleaning erasers from ALDI and isopropyl alcohol. I must say you need to be careful as it will remove the paint if you go overboard. Proceed with caution. For some reason the pictures have come through in reverse order but you get the idea. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Crafty
Thx for the photo's. Magic Eraser's are pretty good in small doses and can quickly clean areas. But like you mentioned they are abrasive so gently, gently. Great result on this playfield though, well done

Rich
I will try your method next, much simpler than using a magic eraser with jif and windex
jaredmorgs
I'm using Diggers Isopropyl to remove mylar and adhesive on all my Gottlieb restorations. I use a scalpel blade to scrape off the goop. It's surprising effective. With this technique you do need to be careful when you get close to the ink layer because the Isopropyl also softens the laquer sealer. This is great if you want to re-clear the playfield. I use white spirits. I dunno if that effects the lawyer but may do too. I generally clean the areas quickly anyway
