Frank_fjs
I have 5 of these Pong kits to sell. It's a recreation of the old Pong console game done on an AtMega328P. There's various single and double player game modes. Composite video and audio via RCA. Controls are potentiometers housed in a jiffy box, interconnected via 3.5mm stereo audio cables. Toggle switches to control paddle size, ball speed and angle. Game select and reset tactile switches. NTSC and PAL video output, the game design (solid net / dotted line net etc) also changes accordingly as per the original game. Note that this must be selected, via a jumper shunt, prior to powering on. You can change this setting whilst powered on without causing harm, the change just won't take affect until a power cycle is done. Power via 2.1mm (or 2.5mm should you desire) DC power jack. Voltage can be anywhere between 5V and 15V and polarity doesn't matter. I run it off a 9V battery via an appropriate harness. Each kit consists of nearly all required components. I fell shy of a few parts so you'll need to source these yourself. Jaycar part numbers listed but they're generic components so can be purchased anywhere really. What's included: PCB 7805 voltage regulator 3 pin 2.54mm header and jumper shunt 5mm round blue LED 4 x diodes Pre-programmed AtMega328 chip with 16MHz crystal 2 x tactile switches 2 x 0.1uF caps 2 x 15pF caps 1 x 1uF cap What you need to supply: RR0572 x 3 - 1K resistor RR0564 x 1 - 470R resistor RR0592 x 1 - 6.8K resistor PS0531 x 1 - DC power jack with switch (can also use PS0519 if you want one without the incorporated switch) PS0279 x 2 - PCB mount RCA socket PS0133 x 2 - PCB mount stereo 3.5mm connector ST0300 x 3 - SPDT Sub-miniature toggle switch RP8510 x 2 - 10K linear pot (use whatever works for you) HK7741 x 2 - Knobs for pot (any knob you desire will do) PS0132 x 2 - Panel mount 3.5mm sockets WA7008 x 2 - 3.5mm stereo audio cable (any cable will do, the $2 stores sell nice ones which are more affordable) HB6015 x 2 - Jiffy box Fun little soldering project and fun to play once completed. Price per kit is $20 which includes postage as a letter in a padded envelope. If you want parcel with tracking add $5. The following people have dibs as they previously expressed interest: @Kaizen @raysco @poidapoida @waali Edited May 6, 2019 by Frank_fjs
