Sega Turbo Steering Issue

Recommended Posts

Hi AA Members,

Recently bought a Sega Turbo upright. Great game. Just a couple of minor issues but the main one is that I have noticed there is a crack it the large steering cog inside the steering assembly. Still works but has a knock when it get to the crack. I am looking to replace this part. It is a plastic "Spur Gear 60T" Part no. 601-0465 according to the manual. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks.

Does the wheel do a full rev?

If not turn the gear to a spot where it doesn’t touch the other gear.

You could play it and find the sweet spot but Turbo is on of those games that you let the steering wheel fly. Plastic weld idea by Davejedi is a good though, as long as the gear doesn't split somewhere else.
