Following on from this thread https://www.aussiearcade.com/showthread.php/101834-River-Boat-Gambler-Display-Part-D-12232-3-display

I've got a River Boat Gambler here off the container that had a dead D-12232-1 display in it. All variants use the same board however a handful of components are missing to drive the external 7 digit numerical displays for games like Taxi which uses 1 and Riverboat which uses 2.

The values for these resistors are not documented anywhere as far as I know.

For single external display games ie Taxi, Diner

W1 and W2 installed.

R10 to R18 populated with 10kohm 1 watt resistors

R69 and R9 has 1 Mohm

U3 - UDN6118

Header J4.

Components removed.

R56,R57,R54,R60,R62,R65,R67

For dual external display game like Riverboat (I think this is the only game that uses it)

Same as above

R70 and R14 - 1 Mohm

U4 UDN6118

J6 Header.

Basically this is changing the lower 16 digit display to run as numerical and using the segments for letters to drive the 1 or 2 external displays. The upper 16 digit remains Alphanumerical.

This is a D-11232-2 I found on the scrap pile that I'm working on now. Luckily I've got a few NOS 16 digit Alpha numerical Tony bought from @ddstoys years ago.

With the way the Aussie dollar is right now, postage and taxes it just not viable to go LED however in a pinch if you had a good working D-11232-1 you could convert it.
