Ryan555
This has been a family car since my parents brought it second hand in 1987. I have used this car for many years but have now brought a replacement car. Its in really good condition for its age and well looked after. It has 245 on the clock. I would like to see it preserved instead of crushed into a cube or driven into the ground by a new owner. Is this car worth trying to preserve? or is it not considered classic etc. It was made in Melbourne, and its not fuel injected. Tell me what you think. prktkljokr
Unless its a twin cam forget it, the standard ones are dime a dozen my Father also has one, he had it from new and its paid for itself ten times over, not really worth much now though. You obviously have a sentimental attachment to it, Im afraid no one else will look at it the same way you do, its just a car after all.
Super Moderator WOKA Posted September 26, 2019 Super Moderator Share Posted September 26, 2019 I reckon that there is 2.5k there all day. Looks tidy, looks very original - there will be someone out there willing to pay, particularly if it has good service history.
Ryan555
Thanks for you input guys. I know now its nothing special about it. I did see a Twin cam sell for $11,000. I guess I will sell it, and hope that they look after it. Maybe someone can make me some Twin cam decals for the sides...... :)
