LEDS - Batch 11

Recommended Posts

Got 5+ people hasseling me to do another order so here it is again.

Just emailed the supplier and the ETA to send to me 35 days AFTER I PLACE THE ORDER. Will be placing order on the 20th of April. This coming Saturday. If there are an insane amount of different types ordered it will take a little longer. Please factor this when ordering.

Unpaid orders will not be included in the order, you must pay right away.

If you are new to this, the way it works is

How

1. You place the order on my website.

2. Pay for it

3. I place a big order with a supplier in China

4. He makes the LEDs and send them to me

5. I send them to you.

The advantage is great prices and an incredible range of types and colours. 42 different types with about 9 different colours = over 350 different SKUs!

This is why I cannot buy them and stock them in Australia and why there is a minimum order quantity.

Please note that these are 6.3v LEDs made for pinball machines, not 6v that are really just automotive LEDs.

Normal LEDs

Normal Bayonet - http://www.elitepinball.com/Pinball-Led-Australia/Bayonet%20pinball%20%20LEDs%20Australia

Normal Wedge - http://www.elitepinball.com/Pinball-Led-Australia/Wedge-Pinball-LEDS

Super anti ghosting LEDs

They have a small capacitor in them and from what I have seen and the feedback I have they eliminate all ghosting in problem DMD/Capcom games. I have not tried them on older SS/EM games but maybe someone here has?

Orders can be placed NOW until Saturday the 20th of April. That is when I will close up the orders and place the order with the supplier.

Feel free to split orders between friends etc to make it easier to get to the 50 pieces MOQ!

looking to the difference in brightness between warm, cool & pure white LED's.......don't want to find out the globes I get are either not bright enough or too bright.

thinking cool white should be fine, just to light up coloured inserts.

Just a heads up for anyone with EM or SS games that would like to use some LED's

These ones in warm white are excellent, and you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between them and incandescent globes behind the backglass. They also work well on the playfield as far as colour temperature goes, but because of the frosted domes, you can tell they are leds.

What would you recommend for System 6/7 era Williams for playfield inserts? The insert colours are mostly red and some blue/violet

The colours produce seemingly the same brightness... They are just a different colour.

Most people just put single smd under insterts. You don't really need a cap on there to spread light because the insert isn't big enough to need that.

Cool white is so white that it can change the colour slightly of inserts. For example if you put cool white under red...it washes it out and makes the red almost look orange.

Personally I use warm white under everything except red and green which i colour match (and probably blue as well but there aren't many blue inserts )

Hey Rod, that's a big statement to make. Hard pressed to tell the difference.

Heard this from many manufactures.

I'll believe it when I see them in person:)

Yeah you're right. I've just done a little comparison, and here are the results.

We have a mix of 47s and the warm white leds for sale in this thread.

The leds are clearly brighter than the 47s, but not crazy bright so they flare or spot.

The colour temp is obviously different, and you can see that in the pic.

I'm generally not a fan of leds in older games, and seeing people colour bomb the GI in newer games just makes me cringe. The reason I have these is because I have a Xenon (Which is actually an older game that suits leds) and it had the same leds but in cool white, so I wanted to see how the warm ones looked.

Ok, 3 people messaged me and need more time. Always the case :)

Ive got the order ready to submit but going out for lunch and i have re-enabled all the products

If you want to quickly place an order you got about 2 hours or so.

Please email me and send payment confirmation from your bank for me to include you in this order!

If you have already order and want to add more, just order and choose the pickup option - and i will bunch it together with your other order so you dont pay for shipping twice!

Thanks
