Placing vending machine advice

G'day guys.

A mate is opening a gym in the cbd area Melbourne, he's asked me to have a vending machine sited for him as I have a few around the town.

My stuffs old school can machines that take $2 and I have no idea about the big flash units they have with protein drinks, cookies, etc.

Should I call someone who sells them? I'm not sure I'm ready to out lay that much $$$.

Should I just grt someone from here to put one at the gym.?

Start out with something you can afford, if it takes off then spend the coin.

Nothing worse than outlaying a heap and it doesn't make money.

You will find water will be the best seller in a gym

Buy something that will accept a credit card reader. Preferably a glass front combo. Recommend a vcm5000, configured for what you want to sell. Very customisable and reliable. I run a lot of them. Nowdays I offer sites cashless only payment system, in exchange for no card fees. Most payments are on card reader anyway and it saves all the cash handling and layout for coin / note payment system as well as eliminates coin / note jams etc. Happy to answer questions if you want to pm me.
