Question
richierich85
Hi all,
So ive been mucking around with my new purchase of a williams T2 and i have an issue with the sound board. So when i boot the machine up and shut it off i get that large crackling/static pop out of the speakers. So for a piece of mind i switched boards with my digital pinsound board and problem solved not even one bit of a tiny noise what so ever, Perfect. i read up and for the fact the machine is old it could be the caps on the sound board, OK i purchased a cap kit, replaced all caps, reinstated board and the noise/pop etc is worse and louder. Can anyone offer advice what would be the next step to fixing my board or even what to look at next to fix/check on it? dont really wanna spend $500 on another pinsound board...... can the sound caps catch fire as it doesnt sound right?
cheers Richie
