FIXED: WOZ slow ball gets stuck.

Gemini2544

Question

This is happening a lot and is really pissing me off, the only solution is to remove the glass to free the ball. The fix seems obvious but adjusting the switch arm height & stiffness hasn't worked.

Are the pics after yiu adjust the height and switch arm? If so, adjust it a lot more!

Also, could put spacers under the switch mount to raise it off the ramp.

Or hit the shot harder ha ha

The pixs are the original fault, I've raised the switch arm as high as I can any higher & it wont register the ball passing. The problem I see is that position on the ramp is pretty flat (east-west wise) even though the machine is as steep as it goes. I'm thinking of moving the switch further back on the slope might help.

Is that the right switch?

Yes just before the intersection. Anyway I've done some thinking outside the square & seemed to have found a fix (So Far).

What Ive come up with is to leave the switch alone & raise one side of the ramp so the ball will roll forward avoiding the flat spot. I used a couple of post rubbers under the supporting post to raise the angle. So far it's worked.
