Is there anyone near the Goldcoast who could check a tube for me. I had the chassis serviced and can't get a picture. The tube is totally blank when powered up.
I'm wondering if I've blown the chassis again by trying it on a dead tube? I've checked all the connections and they're good. No bent pins on the neck board, the deflection coils are plugged in correctly and there's power at the chassis. You can hear a relay click which I'm guessing is for the degauss circuit but there's no high pitch whine.
I'll be heading to the Goldcoast on the 23rd of March if anyone can help I'd appreciate it.
