Question

Hi all just trying to help out a mate he owns a TAITO Space invaders 2 board cocktail colour cabinet and when you turn it on it has this intermittent glitch? I have cleaned the boards checked the board for corrosion but it still happens is this a cpu issue or say a voltage issue?

The gameboard is an IPM Invader, not original Taito.

Too many possibilities to say exactly what's wrong with it from the photo's.

Check the voltage (+5v) at one of the chips (pins 7 & 14) not all chips have that pinout so check anything from 74LS00 - 74LS08.

Try flexing the interconnect cable connectors and reseat all socketed chips and check for bent legs.
