Looking all good for this weekend mates

We are going to trial a new addition to the software this weekend. From crunching the data we have found that nearly 80% of the time the person who is going to stay on the machine, regardless of who wins or loses, is already decided due to the win-loss sequence the current players are on.

This weekend if your name is in red and has line through it you are off the machine regardless of your result of your next game. This has the potential to speed up reporting and the amount of games played if you and your partner are happy to use the guide. If you are happy to use this system, the person with the line and red font should return and report the result and the other player can wait at the machine for their next opponent.

It would be ideal also if the returning player can make sure the correct player is heading toward the machine they just left to save people being left stranded waiting for an opponent.

Apologies if this sounds confusing. It makes perfect sense in my head.

Play can be even further sped up as the player staying on the machine will automatically become player one in the next match and could begin play on their first ball while they wait for the new opponent to arrive.

The ipad will also flash with where to head next when you report a result to further help with speed and confidence in knowing where you're supposed .

See you all Saturday morning :)

That makes sense: I'll rephrase it in case Jimmi's explanation is not clear :-)

It would happen in this scenario:

- you win on a machine and give the other player his/her second loss

- you lose the next game

- you will be off the machine after your third game because you'll either get your second loss, or you'll win (against a fresh player, as you lost the previous one, so it can't be his/her second loss).

So, if you get a off the queue, win, then lose, you are certain to get off the machine after your 3rd game on it.

Another smooth event. Thanks everyone for coming along. New addition to the software worked like a charm. 458 games with only 145 machines and 34 players is cooking on gas.

Big congrats to Thibaut Allender for jagging his first FF win. Well done mate
