What retro stuff did you add to your stash this week?

Nice one mate, really want a box ntsc version of Mario 64.

Yeah im stoked, especially at the price they came to about $55 each.

The seller had mario kart 64 C.I.B too but someone else on ocau snapped it up, tbh I couldnt've afforded all four anyway.

I'll keep an eye out for a C.I.B Mario 64 through the usual places for ya :)

It's been a long time since I've added anything to the SMS shelf, finally found an Out Run 3-D in very nice condition

I bought this Invader 2000 hand held colour LSI game now twice. I bought this originally on my honeymoon in Fiji 34 years ago. I loaned it to a kid to take to his school for a technology display & some mongrel stole it from his bag. I hadn't seen one since for 34 years, & am happy to have it back.

WAhoo! Look what I found at the recycle tip covered in mud. It is now working and contains the original AY chips for Car race AY-3-8603 ic & Stunt Cycle AY-3-8760 ic.

I paid $5 for it & got down to business cleaning it up. I did a couple of new solder joints & she's a goer. :) I need to go back and search the area again for the right hand controller though. Now it's going I give it a super clean & in the collection she goes. This is a rare one!

I had one very similar to that one but mine had little 360 degree joysticks on the paddles from memory and didn't have the car racing games, but it had stunt cycle and drag racing, ummmmm drag racing fair sucked, in fact I think I preferred to play single player squash.

That was the cartridge type here's my "Tempest" there were others Sonic, Hanimex & I think Kmart had one too! The joysticks weren't spring return so you had a hell of a time finding center. This is one from my collection.

Cool, yeah mine looked like that, a fine clean example you have there, I had one before that also that had a multiple position horizontal switch across the middle to select games, about 10 of them I think, but I might be getting them mixed up, memory is starting to fade. After those consoles I had a big upgrade and got a second-hand Vic20 with a tape drive and a couple of cartridge games including Radar Rat Race :)

Just got back from Japan, picked up a stack of cheap Famicom and PCEngine stuff, plus a couple of PS1 and MegaCD games. :041:

This week I found an Atari 2600 Summer Games in the HES plastic clam shell case. Happy to find this one as it leaves me only one more HES plastic case game left to find :nervous:
