Ah so does that mean that the plexi is screwed to some kind of wooden mounting blocks? Trying to picture how the right angles holds the plexi in place without being seen.
That is genius. I will be looking at this in my upcoming cab build.
Great tip. Cheers
Quick question..... When you mount your plexi for the marquee, are you mounting it inside of the actual frame of the cab so that it has a border around it?
Or do you mount it to the actual cab? ...
That looks cool, not sure where I would put a full sized sit down cabinet though. Could offload some of the wife's clothes and shoes, that would free up some space around the size of a small country.
mxd......Cool, ta, will have a look.

I have been bitten by the bug for building cabs and I am curious as to how easy it is to build a cab that can be used for racing games.

Here it is. I think I may have resolved this though as when I took the joystick out last night I decided to turn the chamfered collar at the bottom of the stick around. Initially the small...
Thanks for the replies, I will upload the pic in the other thread to avoid doubling up.
Hi all
I have been building a 2 player bartop arcade cabinet which is 80% complete and now playable. I am running it on a pi3 with retropie (hats off to the coders of Retropie as its an amazing...
Would it be safe to say that if joystick of this variety was purchased and used with an IPAC2 that the loose cables would just be screwed into the relevant terminal block on the IPAC2?
I am...
And did you create the graphics yourself and then provide to mamepatrol or just ask mamepatrol to design and print?
Stupid question but what exactly is this and what comes with the 39GB download? I already have retropie running so all the EmulationStation wonders that comes with it. At this stage I only have...
Thats a serious shed......which I like.
:)
What did you use as your bezel on the monitor? I have one of wwf's kits that is mostly assembled (to the point I can play games at least) but have yet to enclose the monitor.
I have a pi3 running...
And I forgot to mention that it is all housed in one of wwf's flat pack bartop cabs.
Have you been over to the retropie.org.uk forums to sniff around over there?
There is a new website for retropie with new forums as well and the community is thriving.
Ok thanks.
Did you ever find this in the end?
I have seen similar cocktail cabs being sold in Melbourne shopping centres for a similar price. As soon as I got to the price I carried on walking. The first time I had the shock is when I decided to...
Next boys weekend is sorted then. Maybe a bit longer than a weekend though but that would be an awesome trip.
From the list posted I would agree with Elevator Action. Simple to play with decent longevity.
Where did you order from as I am looking at printing for my cabinet shortly.
Thanks
That is exactly as a man cave should look. Great work.
Thanks for the various references to mamepatrol. I have been looking for someone local with good recommendations. Some of the art looks killer that they have printed.
