  2. Um wrong. My mailbox and attachment allowance was halved a few weeks ago. I'll take a look at those upgrades, maybe everyone had their quota halved and I missed an announcement??
  3. Apparently there is some misinformation around. :unsure Seems the Mark C stock includes doors for the US, Europe, and specifically Aussie ones, WPC and P2K. So buy the right one I guess. Here's some shots of the one I bought on the weekend. 1. Notice - Aussie coin slots... 2. Manufacture date - they made this coin door three years before they started P2K! :lol 3. Seems an exact match for my AFM. :) EDIT Sorry, my privileges leave me unable to post pictures...
  4. You are doing the right thing - find one, play it a lot, then decide. There's as many people who do not like this game as those who like it I find. I sold mine after 6 months, but as mentioned, always a market to move it on (fortunately). Rule set is not IMO "deep" - just lots of average modes (that you don't need to complete - just start) to enable the "wizard" mode.
  5. You should replace it, but it won't be your problem here.
  6. I know you said you checked the fuses, but perhaps replace the fuse circled here as it does sound like it is the culprit. Otherwise, the connector block A12 may have come apart - check that, take apart and reconnect.
  7. The pinball blog is a pretty good read - and there's a nice mention of Coconut Island in that latest article too.
  8. This was not a genuine "Beatles" licensed game, more a rip-off and, the the band called "The Bootles" on the playfield and backglass. http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=213&picno=21536&zoom=1 http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=213&picno=41239 Seems this one has had the text changed on the backglass in some pictures, but not in others!
  9. The site sponsor RTBB http://www.aussiearcade.com/forumdisplay.php?f=59 sells these - why not support those that support the site? I know it's down this moment, but Greg is due back today I think, so should be back up any time now.

  11. There is. Hold the flippers at the start of the game until the first quote "Make the skill shot..." finishes - there's barely any coaching talk then.
  12. I tend to agree - I'm still waiting for the day that an original proto BBB sells. Might not be for a while given the economic times, but I suspect the Capcom made protos will fetch 50% to 100% more than the IPB run, despite the fact that the IPB games are from reports of those that have seen both dramatically better in finish and of course condition given they are so much younger. And despite the fact that the owner of the actual Capcom stuff in total made them (so even brand names are identical), the only difference was "factory" location.
