  1. Got my official topper today. Luckily got put onto a store in the states that had 2 left. I’d hate to pay the mark up prices! They’re insane! Haven’t done the extra code yet. So far I’ve noticed it spells Jurassic park when I hit the ramp.
  2. Video of new sequence. Looks great with the CE and the back box lighting. IMG_6042.MOV
  3. CHICAGO, IL – October 12, 2021 – Stern Pinball, Inc., announces the availability of Jurassic Park Pin, a new stylish, affordable, and fun pinball machine designed and engineered for the home. Jurassic Park Pin immerses players in a pinball journey 65 million years in the making. Based on the blockbuster film Jurassic Park from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, the Jurassic Park Pin experience will transport players to Isla Nublar, an amusement park where escaped dinosaurs are running amok! With the volcano on the island erupting and threatening to destroy everything in its path, it is the player’s mission to rescue park staff, evacuate and recapture dinosaurs, and escape before it’s too late! Players will experience heart-pounding excitement right from the start in this action-packed pinball adventure filled with suspense, twists, and turns around every flip. Jurassic Park Pin brings to life the most fearsome predator ever to walk the earth with an interactive, custom sculpted T. rex. Players will battle against the Spinosaurus by bashing a captive ball and corral Raptors in their enclosed pen with precision shooting. Fast flowing metal ramps, lightning quick spinners, and kinetically satisfying physical drop targets will provide players with an adrenalized game experience packed with unmatched action and fun. The all-LED playfield lighting provides dazzling light shows in sync with the iconic Jurassic Park theme music to create an immersive pinball experience. The easy-to-setup Jurassic Park Pin is affordable, reliable, built to last, and engineered with genuine Stern commercial-quality parts. The playfield is housed in a stylish cabinet with dynamic, high definition, hand-drawn artwork. Complementing the iconic theme and exciting gameplay, Stern Pinball’s powerful SPIKE™ electronics hardware system enables high-definition graphics and innovative animations on the LCD display. SPIKE™ also reduces system complexity and energy usage, resulting in enhanced reliability and simplified servicing.
  4. What are your thoughts on collectors buying up and keeping their “Pinball investments” NIB to on sell at a later date for profit? Are pinballs worth more if kept NIB or could a second hand game go for the same price? It is rumoured that a "Used" POTC CE sold for 50k+ here in OZ. Is it worth perhaps the 5k or so more than a used machine to simply unbox a game in the short term (when Le’s sell out upon release?) The extra amount of cost to experience taking it out of its box just doesn't cut it for me. I could definitely see the wow factor attached if a game is 10+years old and still NIB. But not the short term. Will it follow the same trajectory as Video games? - For instance, a sealed never opened Super Mario Bro’s NES apparently fetched 2 million dollars. I just find it intriguing to keep a bulky item that can give you such an abundance of entertainment in a box. The temptation would get to me. Small items such as figurines and the like, I totally get. It’s not like they do anything. What would a NIB TZ or Addams Family be worth today if one existed?
  5. Fair enough. There’s better collectibles to make more money that take up waaaaay less space.
  6. Absolutely brilliant. if you’re a snowflake don’t watch.
  7. I’ve never understood those who keep a pinball machine in a box. 🤣
  8. Isn’t it the best!! Did you want the marshal logo mod? I got a spare set.
  9. Last Astro I got was free with an OG bubble Bobble board. Now I feel like I should give him some coin..
  10. What about art? A squiggle drawn on a piece of paper can fetch millions. A banana stuck to the wall with sticky tape… Stencils spayed onto 5$ canvases (banksy) worth insane amounts.
  11. They sure do. I'm still surprised i was able to get a beautiful JP2 prem still as new - loaded with mods for under rrp. Good deals can still be found.
