  1. How is this progressing? Any final pics? Did you finish your DK cab? 🙂
  2. This now sit's as part of my collection! Thanks @Kaizen Both these cabs are @Kaizen builds 😍
  3. Here is a reply from Joey on this for prosperity: "Yes I have seen this a lot of times but only where there is strong electromagnetic fields, I have an spot about 3 meters square in my workshop I call the Bermuda Triangle because no matter what machine I put there the colours are impossible to get right, I can perfectly degauss a monitor and watch it go completely messed as soon as I move it towards this spot, move it away and it comes perfect again. There is no physically reason I can see for this except that in certain places certain monitors will flip colours or become impossible to degauss, some you can move 45deg and they are perfect again. It's totally 100% magnetic , it doesn't always effect them uniformly like yours but completely flipping colours it can be just a section of the screen but that spot I have at work does completely change the colours, with my test pattern generator I can put in on a full blue screen and depending which way I rotate the machine it can be pure Red , Green or Blue. I show people and they think I am playing games with them , but as you know it's voodoo magic lol"
  4. Wow just looked back over this thread, it's the very begining of my arcade journey nearly 2 years ago. They Rygar cab is well and truely finished without going into stupid detail. I noticed no final pictures. Here is the arcade room now with a repro Donkey Kong, Namco Cyberlead, Namco Exceleena, Taito style clone aussie cocktail and a loaner Dr Who pinball.
  5. Just realised how old this post is LOL.. just show how often I come here now.. sigh
  6. So this going to sound like fairy magic. it blew my mind. I'd love to know how this happened. I had a Nanao MS8 chassis serviced by JOMAC (works perfect now btw), that had the weirdest issue I've ever come across. 1. When tested on return the monitor showed incorrect colour assignments when all plugged in correctly. (yes image was flipped). RED was Green, Green was Blue, Blue was read. 2. Switched the connector to flip the image (obs same issue but up the right way) 3. Had a little email convo with Joey over Xmas (can't believe he replied I feel bad!) and he was like, hmm maybe I re-routed them wrong after repairing a sub board ( I don't think this was the case due to the magic below). So rather than sending back I thought, I'll just chnage the pins on the connector going into the cab, So I did this. Swapped the RGB pins on the connector until it was good again. Sweet all working on the ground! 4. Installed back into the cab and THIS HAPPENED!!!!! SIMPLY INSTALLING THE MONITOR!!! No pins on that connetor or any other connetions changed. WTF! 5. So I switched the pins BACK to their original state on the conenctor and she is good again! MIND BLOWN! So the quesiton is... How did the colours (guns?) change by simply rotating the monitor on it's side with NOTHING changed between the floor (Horizontal) and installed (Vertical)?
  7. Late to this I wonder why no notification? No I don't have 128MB, these 32MB are left over from the upgrade. I also got a ferw other things left over now I upgraded to MiSTercade including a JPAC and I/O board which I'll put in another post I think.

  9. Sluthing from the peeps in the discord group found a picture, and lead to the solution, it's so simple I just couldn't do it in my brain for some reason. Same reason I'm bad at puxzzle games.
  10. Is there anyone out there with a Namco Cyberlead with a functional control panel locking mechanism they could take photos of for me? I have two metal triangular parts loose in the control panel cavity area and there are obvious camlock holes but I have no idea how the mechanism is assembled. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Picture of machine and open control panel attached.
  11. Hey brains trust, can someone tell me why these metal strips would be taped on the back of the yoke neck on the plastic part? One of my spare CRTs had them peeling off.
  12. It's still there... https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/227849062670484
  13. OK brains trust, let's talk about horizontal adjustment on this chassis. So I got 2 tubes ($25 each) and I've hooked them up to one of these universal chassis (bought two off @jomac) and got an image on both. Now for the life of me I cannot adjust horizontal size. I believe it is this twisty knob highlighted below (see chassis picture) How do you actually operate this knob? Am I missing something really simple here?
  14. Thanks to @djsheep , some LS-40's installed with some new Sanwa buttons and we are looking and feeling sweet!
  15. It’s an amazing private arcade collection. Sorry I missed the last event but I had to Kong-sontrate on something else. 😉
  16. Just saw this after posting on wanted to buy. Yes please!
  17. So I'm waiting to replace the MCA Joysticks on my Exceleena with propr Seimitsu LS-40 joysticks. Anyone have any spare or know where I can purchase them locally? Anyone want the MCA's in there for trade or purchase?
  18. If I want to replace those MCA joysticks, what's the original Seimitsu model that went on these? EDIT: I think I foudn the answer in one of your old posts. Seimitsu sticks, LS-40
  19. Replaced the Exceleena 2 (gutted) with this Exceleena 1 (original). Replacement Joysticks and buttons to be sourced! Need my MiSTercade already so I can run some vertical games! Until then I'm just glad it's siting there.
