Really? You'd pay for a new album by your favourite band. Why not pay for that new album to be incorporated into a music pinball machine?

I'm glad the AA crowd are thinking it's a better idea than the slaughtering it got on Pinside. One bloke who clearly didn't get it even suggested it could mean "games would ship without working flippers, and DLC would have to be bought to make them work". Bloody hell.

Even if they could keep making money with DLC? Could be the change that keeps older games alive.

(Note: posted this on Pinside and it got SLAMMED. Wondering if us Aussies feel the same way? As I like the idea, writing it and all :).) I think using the video game system of offering DLC to already COMPLETE and FULLY CODED pinball games an exciting idea. Think about it, Aerosmith is looking like an amazing game, but after time when the game is fully coded and complete you will be wanting more songs. So what if every few months or so Stern released themed DLC packs. Such as "Mama Kin DLC" which adds the song, along with new lighting, rules and sounds that incorporate the song's theme. Or even "PINK DLC" which adds the song and gives the playfield pink lighting. Or even a "RUN DMC DLC" which adds them to the game, where you have to recruit them for Walk this Way, or make shots to ensure they play in time together. Hell, if they release a new album how about a chance to add that to the game too? Fantastic! They could even do yearly updates for sports games like 2K does. With Stern's Wrestlemania they could make yearly updates to the code to add the current roster, entrance music, and custom call outs from the current wrestlers. Or even add more legends like Macho Man! They could change $30 or so depending on the size of the DLC which should inspire Stern to keep working on new ideas and improving their older games. (People shouldn't have to work for free!) To clarify all the confusion about this idea, I repeat I am NOT suggesting paying for code that should already be in the game. These are extras thought well into the games existence when the code is finished to freshen things up, and keep an old title feel new again. Happy pinballing everybody.

Love the blades. Think the side rails look cheap. The cold clip art style clashes with the flowing work of Zombie Yeti. (But I've never liked the cut out designs on rails.)

I like the new trailer! The new gear looks cool. And my guess: I'm thinking that crossing the streams might have caused a split in the time stream, creating "this" parallel version of NYC the new movie is set in.

Cracking game. What does this one usually go for? My wife even likes this game, which a plus for getting one in the house :D
