  1. 24 Hour GREAT Pinball Tournament We will be setting up many many pinball competitions back to back and will continue for 24 hours straight! Starting 8am Saturday and running through to 8am Sunday. https://fb.me/e/1qAYcNATc Best game tournament (limited games) - 4 hours Qualifying Rounds 10 machines will be available to play. Each player will receive 15 tokens which can be used on any machine. All 10 machines must be played at least once. The balance 5 tokens can be used on 1 machine or used on any of the 10 machines. If a game is completed, and no other players are waiting for that machine, another game on that machine can be started using another token. If there IS a player waiting for that machine, the current player can move to another free machine, move to the back of a cue for another machine, or on to the back of the cue for the same machine again. The top 4 scoring players on each machine will be awarded 7-5-3-1 points. Points are added for all machines and top 12 players go into a final Group Elimination Bracket. Finals - Group Elimination Bracket Seeding - Top 12 players from Best Game Tournament (limited games) Top 4 seeds receive a bye. Scoring System - IFPA (7/5/3/1) Matches each round - 2 Best game tournament (limited time) - 2 hours Qualifying Rounds 20 machines will be available to play. Each player can choose any machine to play and record their score. They can keep playing the same game (and better their score) or different games in a 2 hour period. If a game is completed, and no other players are waiting for that machine, another game on that machine can be started. If there IS a player waiting for that machine, the current player can move to another free machine, move to the back of a cue for another machine, or on to the back of the cue for the same machine again. The top 4 scoring players on each machine will be awarded 7-5-3-1 points. Finals - 2 Strike Knockout Seeding - Top 8 players from Best Game Tournament (limited time) First Round pairing - Slaughter General Pairing - Balanced Play order - Player with highest current position in tournament will be given player order choice Flip Frenzy tournament - 4 hours When the tournament starts, head-to-head matches are created on multiple machines, and any players not assigned to a match are placed in a queue. When a match ends, a new game will be created. Player 1 will become Player 2 on the new game. Player 2 will go to the bottom of the queue. The player at the top of the queue will become Player 1 on the new game. The tournament will progress in this manner until the timer runs out. The top qualifiers are the players with the most net wins (or total number of wins minus total number of losses). The top 4 places will go into a 4 player group matchplay over 3 games. Group match play tournaments (4 rounds of 3 games) - 4 hours Over 4 rounds, with 3 games per round, players are paired against each other in four-player games. If the number of players is not divisible by four, a number of three-player games will be created. Players earn points based on their finishing position (4 player group=7/5/3/1 3 player group=7/4/1) At the end of the tournament, the player with the most points is the winner. Group match play tournaments (6 rounds of 2 games) - 4 hours Over 6 rounds, with 2 games per round, players are paired against each other in four-player games. If the number of players is not divisible by four, a number of three-player games will be created. Players earn points based on their finishing position (4 player group=7/5/3/1 3 player group=7/4/1) At the end of the tournament, the player with the most points is the winner. Pingolf Qualifying players will complete 18 pin-golf holes across 9 machines the number of balls it takes for the player to reach the target/achievement score will represent the number of Pin-Strokes earned for that hole. (1st ball = Hole in 1, 2nd ball = 2, 3rd ball = 3, etc) should a player not reach the target score within the allotted balls (par), then the par +1 pin stroke will be awarded for that hole.(3 balls = 4 strokes, 5 balls = 6 strokes) players can play the machines in any order, but must play the Pin-holes on a particular machine in order Matchplay Finals Top 16 players to be split into 4 groups as follows: 1, 8, 9, 16 2, 7, 10, 15 3, 6, 11, 14 4, 5, 12,13 each group to play 3 randomly chosen pin-golf holes using pin-golf scoring highest seed chooses playing position first, second seed second etc on subsequent games the person with the highest stroke score from the previous game chooses playing position first, then second highest stroke score etc two players with the lowest pin-golf scores in each group advance, 3 rounds in total. 16-8-4 points do not carry over ties for placings will be determined by a single pin-golf hole playoff grand final will be a best of 5 Womens 3 Strike Knockout Players are paired against each other with the loser receiving a "strike". 2. Playing around with some tournament ideas. Tell me what you think of these. Also would love to hear any other suggestions or revisions of the below:- Best game tournament (limited games) - 4 hours 10 machines will be available to play. Each player will receive 12 tokens which can be used on any machine. All 12 tokens can be used on 1 machine or used on any of the 10 machines. If a game is completed, and no other players are waiting for that machine, another game on that machine can be started using another token. If there IS a player waiting for that machine, the current player can move to another free machine, move to the back of a cue for another machine, or on to the back of the cue for the same machine again. The highest scoring player on each machine will be awarded points equal to the number of players in the competition. Second highest player will be awarded points equal to the number of players minus 1, and so on. Best game tournament (limited time) - 2 hours 20 machines will be available to play. Each player can choose any machine to play and record their score. They can keep playing the same game (and better their score) or different games in a 2 hour period.
