  1. I'm bringing her down from Mackay to exhibit again this year. I'm guilty of not being close by to explain the rules to the players but ill give you a proper rule set tour no worries. Great game! Regards all, Cliffy!
  2. I use anti-reflective glass and an anti-glare filter on the DMD on my games and, if Stern SAM like Walking Dead for example, a dimmable LED backglass lighting as well. No more glare...period.
  3. I missed a very big hug from you Trav. Hopefully next comp or show I see you.
  4. Restoring a Stern Meteor and I'm putting the feelers out for an authentic Stern coin door for it. Anyone have one I could buy off you?
  5. I know it's emulated in MAME but putting the feelers out for a proper Space War part 3 PCB or just the ROMS for it even.
  6. I hope you find one. It's a great game and not emulated in MAME properly, works but sound is wrong. Good luck in your search.
  7. The very first setups happening now at Pinfest! great venue. This is going to be a fantastic great show see you there!
  8. Hello all, Looking for a chime unit for a Strikes and Spares. The S&S I have has the chime unit with three chimes and works fine but need a second chime unit for the fourth chime. anybody know who has one? am I lucky…punk. Thanks and regards to all. Cliff
  9. Happy Birthday Kress. Have a great day. Cant wait to see your pinball trainer at Pinfest!
  10. Happy Birthday Grant. All the best.
  11. I replaced mine with an Arcade Upkeep Dimming Backbox Panel, its an LED dimming panel. I got three for Walking Dead, LOTR and Sopranos because the fluoro lighting was broken, no more starters and tubes and ballast for me anymore, runs on 12V only. No more 100Vac and its power supply needed. Very vibrant light, even on Sopranos. Come with all the bits you need to install it, and it bolts in place of the existing fluoro mount screw holes with a number of mounting positions. They do Whitestar and SAM and has user adjustable brightness, and automatically dimms down (user adjustable as well) when you start a game to prevent reflection on the upper part of the playfield glass while playing. This, paired with DMD glare filter (from Mr Pinball Aus) and PDI playfield glass, DMD and backglass reflecting on the playfield glass is a thing of the past. At the end of the game, after about 20 seconds (game over sequence and graphics) its brightens back up for attract mode again. Brilliant. Very handy upgrade but its not cheap - $74US plus $60US Shipping to Oz. Check it out on Pinside Shops - Arcade Upkeep
  12. Doing a playfield refresh on a Sopranos. I use a Lyman 1200 and walnut media. I dumped a bottle of Brasso in there, I leave it running non stop and as I dismantle the playfield piece by piece I toss most parts in there for a polish for a days. Does alright on most parts.
